The Ibiza Tourism Board (Fomento del Turismo de la Isla de Ibiza) has unveiled an extensive autumn programme of activities aimed at strengthening the island’s appeal beyond the peak summer season and promoting a more diversified, year-round tourism offering.

Running throughout September and October, the programme brings together initiatives developed by the organisation’s different product clubs, covering key segments including luxury tourism, gastronomy, active tourism, wellness and MICE tourism — meetings, incentives, conferences and events.

Activities will take place both in Ibiza and in major European source markets, with promotional events scheduled in Madrid and Amsterdam, alongside professional networking opportunities targeting travel agencies, tour operators and event organisers. According to Fomento del Turismo, the strategy is designed to maintain Ibiza’s international tourism positioning during the autumn months and demonstrate that the island offers much more than a traditional summer holiday.

Luxury tourism, gastronomy and international promotion

As part of the autumn programme, Ibiza Luxury Destinations, the club dedicated to the high-end and luxury travel market, will promote new experiences through its Journeys Ibiza Luxury Destinations initiative. It will also host a familiarisation trip for specialist travel agencies and tour operators, providing industry professionals with first-hand access to Ibiza’s premium tourism offering.

Meanwhile, Eating in Ibiza will take the island’s culinary identity beyond the Pitiusas. The gastronomy club will participate in the D*NA culinary festival in Dénia and organise two exclusive dinners for specialist food and gastronomy journalists.

One of the dinners will be held in Madrid at Corsario restaurant, while the second will take place in Amsterdam at the Nela gastronomic venue. Through these initiatives, Fomento del Turismo aims to strengthen the visibility of Ibiza’s gastronomy and local cuisine in both domestic and international markets.

The Ibiza Convention Bureau will also step up its activity in the MICE tourism sector. In September, it will participate in events with French agencies in Santiago de Compostela and attend two professional meetings in Madrid with domestic clients.

In October, Ibiza will welcome a corporate-sector familiarisation trip and host Conecta One to One, bringing together 45 event-planning professionals. The island will also stage the sixth edition of the Ibiza MICE Summit, organised in partnership with the Ibiza Conference Centre.

More than 1,000 participants expected at Ibiza Wellness Weekend

Wellness and active tourism will also play a prominent role in Ibiza’s autumn calendar. Enjoy Ibiza Activities will organise the first Enjoy Ibiza Day in Vila, a public event featuring an urban treasure hunt and a range of interactive workshops.

The club will also launch the second editions of the Ibiza Balloon Festival and the evening event Night Ibiza Glow, as well as a new edition of Scuba Week, dedicated to diving and marine experiences.

Meanwhile, Ibiza Health & Beauty will conclude its annual programme with the 7th Ibiza Wellness Weekend 2026, taking place at different locations across the island. The event is expected to attract more than 1,000 participants for a programme centred on health, wellness and wellbeing experiences.

Fomento del Turismo says that combining events in Ibiza with targeted international promotion will help position the island as a competitive, authentic and diversified destination outside the traditional tourism season.

The organisation will also work with AETIB in September on the ECO-SEAROUTES project, which forms part of the European Union’s Interreg Euro-MED programme.

The autumn programme receives financial and institutional backing from the Consell de Ibiza, Ibiza Town Council and Sant Antoni Town Council, reflecting a broader public-private partnership strategy involving local authorities and businesses across Ibiza’s tourism industry.

The initiative reinforces Ibiza’s efforts to reduce seasonality, diversify its tourism economy and extend the visitor season, while showcasing the island’s luxury, culinary, wellness, active and business tourism experiences to new and existing international markets.
