The Elena Torres Association for Cancer Research and Early Detection will hold its annual charity dinner at Lío Ibiza on Monday, August 24, bringing together up to 500 guests. Tickets are available for a €110 donation per person, with a limited number of places still remaining. Tickets can be purchased through the NGO’s website, at its Ele Ibiza charity shop, or at Aguas de Ibiza hotel.

The evening aims to raise funds for cancer research and early detection projects supported by the Ibiza-based non-profit organization, which has been officially recognized as being of General Interest by the Balearic Government.

Guests will enjoy a special menu created by Lío Ibiza, with drinks included. The dinner will begin with a welcome selection featuring paprika and rosemary crackers, followed by goat cheese and aubergine ravioli with Cacio e Pepe sauce. The main course will be beef tenderloin served with sweet potato, vanilla and honey purée, while dessert will be a Lemon Pie tartlet.

The charity gala will also feature several speeches and interventions throughout the dinner, scheduled before each course is served. Their purpose is to highlight the charitable mission of the event and encourage guests to take part in the raffle by purchasing tickets.

The charity raffle will be one of the highlights of the evening, featuring a wide selection of prizes donated by businesses and establishments across the islands. These include treatment vouchers from Clínica Dr. Rull, Moss Clinic and B Smile Boutique, as well as clothing and jewelry donated by Adlib designers Elisa Pomar, Charo Ruiz, Virginia Vald and Piluca Bayarri.

Hotels including Aguas de Ibiza, Bonito Ibiza, Nobu Ibiza Bay, Ibiza Corso Hotel, Petunia and Capelong have also donated stays for two people and wellness treatments. Guests will additionally have the chance to win dinner experiences at restaurants including Lío Ibiza, Maymanta Ibiza, Monkey Ibiza, Bambino Ibiza, Villa Mercedes, Can Secret, Can Mussonet and Nobu Ibiza Bay.

Other long-standing supporters of the Elena Torres Association, including Campos de Ibiza, Forn Can Bufí, Familia Marí Mayans and artist Marisa Medina, have also donated prizes for the event. The list of participating establishments is completed by La Diosa de Ibiza and D Balance Ibiza.

Since its foundation, the Elena Torres Association for Cancer Research and Early Detection has focused on supporting research and bringing Ibiza’s community together around a cause that, according to the organization, affects thousands of families. The association says its annual charity dinner has become one of Ibiza’s leading charitable events, thanks to the commitment of local businesses, institutions, partners, volunteers and residents.

Association president Mari Carmen Gutiérrez has encouraged both residents and visitors to book their tickets as soon as possible and join an evening where, she says, every table, raffle ticket and donation will directly contribute to advancing the fight against cancer.
