Luxury yachts are common in the waters of Ibiza and Formentera, some of them belonging to famous multimillionaires who choose the Pitiusas to rest and enjoy the sea.

Yesterday, in es Caló (Formentera), bathers were able to observe how a helicopter flew between the yachts ‘Moonrise’ y ‘Nebula’by 99,95 y 68 meters in lengthrespectively. A fact that caught the attention of all present.

These mega yachts belong to Jan Koumco-founder of the WhatsApp social network. ‘Nebula’ serves as a support vessel for the yacht ‘Moonrise’ and was built by the shipyard of the Armón group in 2022 and designed by Kirsten Schwalgien. It can accommodate eight guests in four cabins. In contrast, ‘Moonrise’ can accommodate sixteen guests in eight stateroomsbuilt by Feadship and designed by Remi Tessier.

In addition, according to SuperYachtFan, ‘Nebula’ is valued at uS$40 million, with annual costs of around US$4 million, and ‘Moonrise’ costs 220 million dollarswith annual maintenance costs of around $20 million.
