Crash into a lamppost at a traffic circle in Ibiza and flee before emergency services arrive

The driver of a car has crashed into a lamppost at the access traffic circle to the Natural Park of Ses Salines. The accident, in which only one vehicle has been involved Mitsubishi SX, occurred this Tuesday morning.

For unknown reasons, the car has left the road on its right side inside the traffic circle and has ended up crashing against the lamppost. The strong impact has even made the airbags the vehicle’s front end was completely destroyed.

After the violent collision, which has destroyed the front of the car, its occupants have fled before the arrival of the emergency services, police and Guardia Civil.

The Guardia Civil and Xarxa Viaria have come to the scene to regulate traffic and remove the remains of the car from the road. In the meantime, two roadside assistance teams from Grúas Ibiza have worked to recover the vehicle, which was blocked and locked.
