The most magical and eagerly awaited night of the year for thousands of children and families — the night of the Three Kings — arrives in Ibiza in 2026 under a cloud of uncertainty. The rain forecast for Monday, January 5, threatens the traditional Epiphany parades, one of the most well-attended events on the festive calendar. So far, Ibiza Town Council has announced that the parade could be cancelled if the State Meteorological Agency’s (Aemet) forecast is confirmed.
Ibiza Town Council had planned to present the details of the parade this Friday, but has instead cancelled the announcement and stated that it will provide updated information and alternative arrangements in the coming days, depending on how the weather develops.
Parades had been scheduled for both January 5 and 6 in all municipalities across the Pitiusas, with most taking place on the afternoon of the 5th. It should be noted that, regardless of what happens with the Wise Men of the East’s processions, they will still fulfil their mission of leaving gifts in children’s shoes in Ibiza and Formentera.
According to the State Meteorological Agency, Monday, January 5, is expected to bring completely overcast skies, with a 100% probability of rain throughout the day. Temperatures will range between 5 and 14 degrees.
