With summer in Ibiza reaching its peak, Mondrian Ibiza has become one of the great cultural epicenters of the island. Located in Cala Llonga, the establishment has managed to find its place in an environment where the sea and nature combine with the creative essence of Ibiza. Its commitment to art and culture has made it a different space, designed for those seeking unique experiences beyond the sun and the beach
Mondrian is internationally recognized for connecting with the cultural pulse of each city in which it is installed. In destinations such as Los Angeles, Doha, Hong Kong, Cannes or Mexico City, the brand’s hotels have functioned as authentic showcases of creativity and modernity.

Its arrival in Spain in 2023, with Ibiza as the first enclave, marked a significant change in the island’s hotel offer. Mondrian Ibiza presents itself not only as a design hotel, but as a space that celebrates local culture and the artistic community, and integrates innovative proposals in its programming. In this way, it reaffirms the idea that the island is much more than just nightlife, it is also art, tradition and avant-garde.
Sarah Main, from DJ at Pacha to artist at Mondrian Ibiza
The protagonist of Mondrian Ibiza’s most recent collaboration is Sarah Main, an essential name in the island’s musical history. Australian by birth, she arrived in Ibiza in the nineties and became one of the first female resident DJs in Ibiza’s discotheques. Her presence in world reference booths such as Pacha or Space marked an era and consolidated her role as a pioneer in the electronic scene
Sarah Main is painting at Hyde and Mondrian Ibiza throughout the summer / .
Over time, Main found another way to channel her creativity. If in the clubs she expressed herself through rhythm and mixes, today she does it with the color and movement of painting. His work, recognized in international galleries, is characterized by an abstract style in which he combines traditional techniques with augmented reality to achieve pieces that are both physical and digital. A new language that invites the viewer to a multisensory experience.
Workshops with a view of the sea
Every two weeks, Mondrian Ibiza opens its doors to those who wish to live a different artistic experience. On the terrace Sun & Moon, with its sweeping views of the bay of Cala Llonga, Sarah Main leads painting workshops in which she shares her creative process, her influences and her passion for art

Participants do not need previous experience. The objective is to let yourself go, experiment with colors and discover new forms of personal expression. The experience thus becomes an invitation to explore one’s creative side in a privileged environment. And, at the end, participants can take the work home with them.
The workshops reflect the philosophy of Mondrian Ibiza, a hotel that understands its spaces as meeting places. It’s not just about accommodation, but about generating proposals that connect with people and reinforce the island’s cultural identity
Ibiza evolves and so does Mondrian
That vision fits with the evolution of Ibiza as a destination. More and more visitors are looking for experiences that allow them to get to know the island from a different perspective, in contact with its creativity, nature and cultural expressions. Mondrian Ibiza joins this trend by offering a program that combines music, art and gastronomy. The participants and Sarah Main, with the works of art at the end of the workshop.
The location chosen for this proposal also adds value. Cala Llonga, in the municipality of Santa Eulària, is known for its long beach and its quiet family atmosphere, away from the hustle and bustle of other parts of the island. The contrast between the calm of the surroundings and the creative energy of the workshops makes the experience unique.
