The best plans for the weekend in Ibiza and Formentera

A lot of music this weekend in Eivissa and Formentera, starting with the Flamenco Days of Sant Josep, which will accompany the music with dance, talks and workshops throughout the weekend at the Auditori Caló de s’Oli. In addition there are two other flamenco events on Sunday, with the show ‘Luz de calima’ (Light of calima) of Miguel Barranco’s company in Can Ventosa and with ‘Embrujá’, by the dancer Leilah Broukhim, in the Nits Amples de Sant Anton.

From the music we can highlight the mini-tour ibicenda of the Catalan bluesman Alber Solowith concerts on Thursday at Can Jordi, Friday at Teatro Ibiza and Sunday at Kumharas. Also the concert by candlelight of Eivissa Daurada this thursday at 528, the musical tribute to the poet Robert Burns on Friday at Sa Cultural, the recital ‘A sis veus’ of the choir Enchanted on Saturday at the Ethnographic Museum of Can Ros, or, to close, the one by Endèmics on Sunday in Sant Agustí.

Another unmissable event of the weekend is the Ibiza fashion show Inclusion Fashion Day on Saturday in Sant Antoni, presented by Irene Villa.

And we can also highlight the two plays on Saturday: ‘Desokupados’ at the Teatro España in Santa Eulària and ‘Special’, for the LGTBIQ Pride in Can Jeroni.
