The magnificent story of the owner of this superyacht that has arrived in Ibiza: he made his fortune in horse racing

It features a large multi-purpose sundeck, a fore-to-aft bridge deck lounge with doors that open across the full width and a sun deck overlooking the sea. The spacious aft deck leads to an even larger bathing platform, ideal for swimming and water sports.

Owner’s story

The brand-new owner of ‘Hurricane Run’ is the British Michael Tabor (1941) who made his fortune in the gambling industry. However, his influence did not stop there. Tabor successfully expanded his business to dominate diverse sectors, from horse racing to hospitality. He comes from a family of glassmakers from Lithuaniathe Taboroskywho arrived in England from Vilna.

Tabor is also known for being the lender header of LaLiga.

This businessman studied hairdressing at the Morris Salon, in Piccadilly, but soon it left everything for the horses.
