The coincidence of two major music festivals marks the agenda of this weekend, although in one of them, the SON Estrella Galicia Posidonia of Formetera, public access is already closed in advance, this year has as a novelty a concert open to the public. The other is the Sonorama Ribera Ibiza which celebrates its fourth edition and does it again in the Venice Bay space in Cala de Bou, in addition to a series of free concerts in the Auditori Caló de s’Oli. It will be on Friday and Saturday with a lineup featuring La la love you, Merino, Varry Brava, Chambao, Dorian and Por las noches. In addition there is an extra ball of the festival on Sunday in the same space with the Argentinian band Ciro y los Persas.
Also providing music for the weekend will be Oregon guitarist and singer Scott Law this Thursday at the Can Jordi Blues Station, the Lyric Gala on Saturday at Can Ventosa with local singers and the chamber music cycle of Santa Eulària with the Ibizan soprano Lucía Herranz on Sunday at the Centro Cultural de Jesús.
Another point of attention will be the Recinto Ferial, to which the Trobada de Pobles after eight years, with music, folklore and gastronomy of different foreign associations and regional houses of the island. It will be open Saturday and Sunday.
There is also dance with two shows, that of the Ibicencan dancer Ingrid Magrinyà on Friday in Cas Serres, a journey through the history of the island called ‘S’Illa’, and the family show ‘You and I’on Saturday at the Centro Cultural de Jesús.
And among other things, the celebration, one more year in the Cloister of the City Council of Ibiza, of the Lluna de Juny Poetry Festivalwhich will pay a new tribute to the poet who has disappeared Nora Albert.
