A historic finca in Sant Miquel, Ibiza, known as s’Ermita, and home to the spiritual retreat Garden of Light, has been fined up to €300,000 and forced to halt operations for hosting unauthorised concerts and parties. Run by former Canadian ice hockey player Jason Doig, the centre promoted human development and yoga but also held events featuring international DJs and bands. Local authorities acted after an inspection revealed activities contravening regional laws, including selling tickets, food, and drinks. The operators have until 25th September to appeal the fine, which could be reduced to €200,000. For the full article, please visit Diario de Ibiza website here.
