A Brazilian woman was attacked by three pitbulls in Sant Josep, Ibiza, as she was heading to a bar early Monday morning. The incident occurred on can Pou street, roughly 100 meters from the church square, when the dogs, unleashed and unsupervised, charged at her from an open gate, inflicting serious injuries to her arms and legs. The Sant Josep Police, alerted by a witness, found the owner absent and escorted the victim to a health center. Due to the severity of her injuries, including shattered legs and arm, she was later transferred to Hospital Can Misses for further treatment and subsequently filed a report with the Guardia Civil. The attack underscores the dangers of negligent pet ownership and the need for stricter enforcement of public safety regulations regarding dangerous animals.
