The Pereyra Theater premiered Nacho Cano’s musical ‘Ibiza Hippie Heaven,’ which will run until October. The event, attended by approximately 400 guests, featured the ‘Bullfighter’ theme, one of seven unique experiences offered weekly. The musical’s success was evident from the enthusiastic applause and dancing, driven by its soundtrack of hit covers from the 60s onward and the dynamic performances of a Broadway-experienced cast, numerous dancers, and The Pereyras band. The show, utilizing advanced stage technology, narrates the history of Ibiza since the arrival of American hippies in the late 60s, told in English without subtitles. The evening saw high-profile attendees, including the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, and other prominent figures from various sectors. The storyline, punctuated by live renditions of classics from The Beatles to Coldplay, takes the audience on a nostalgic journey through Ibiza’s cultural milestones.
