On 28 January 2023, at Madrid’s Teatro Real, Ibizans Carmen Vidal and Sol Aguirre celebrated being named among Spain’s ‘Top 100 Women Leaders’ of 2023. The prestigious ranking, initiated by Mercedes Wullich and Cruz Sánchez de Lara, recognizes women’s talent and professional achievements. Vidal, a renowned filmmaker with 13 Emmys and 3 Telly Awards, joined the ‘Top 10 Exterior’ alongside figures like Spanish astronaut Sara García Alonso. She’s editing a documentary shot in Paraguay and has several projects in post-production, including her first short film in Ibiza. Sol Aguirre, a coach, writer, and speaker, was recognized in the Independent Professionals and Consultants category. The event also served as a networking opportunity for these accomplished women.
