Ibiza will host the first-ever Gay Wellness Week from October 10 to 17, 2026, bringing together gay men for a week of activities focused on wellbeing, personal development and community at Hyde Ibiza in Cala Llonga.

The inaugural event has been designed as a small-scale, alcohol-free wellness experience, with a programme centred around movement, learning, connection and rest. Organisers have deliberately scheduled the event for October, outside Ibiza’s peak tourist season, offering participants a different way to experience the island during the quieter autumn months.

Gay Wellness Week operates as a UK-registered Community Interest Company and was founded by Sadiq Gillani, former Strategy Director at Lufthansa, according to the organisation.

The programme will feature a number of prominent guest speakers, including Leo Varadkar, former Taoiseach of Ireland, who will take part as an invited speaker.

Also joining the event is Chip Conley, founder of the Modern Elder Academy and former Global Head of Hospitality at Airbnb. His sessions will explore themes including purpose, personal reinvention and navigating major life changes.

The programme will also feature Tommaso Barba, a researcher at the Centre for Psychedelic Research at Imperial College London, who will lead sessions focused on emotional wellbeing and related aspects of personal development, according to the organisers.

Among the contributors connected to Ibiza is Chris Connors, an embodiment coach and island resident specialising in the relationship between mind and body.

The week will also include a social event on October 16 at House of Dreams in Can Furnet, adding a community and social element to the wider Ibiza gay wellness programme.

With its focus on LGBTQ+ wellbeing, personal growth and meaningful connections, the organisers say Gay Wellness Week aims to create a dedicated space for gay men to step away from their usual routines, connect with others and explore different approaches to physical and emotional wellbeing in Ibiza.
