The third edition of Aire Arte takes place on Sunday, October 25, bringing together local and international artists to exhibit and sell their work. The programme also includes a children’s clay workshop to mark International Artists Day.

Art is heading back outdoors in Sant Antoni. This Sunday, October 25, the Passeig de ses Fonts will become a large open-air art gallery as Aire Arte returns for its third edition, bringing together 24 local and international artists to showcase their work and share their passion for art with residents and visitors.

Organised by Sant Antoni Town Council’s Department of Culture in collaboration with IbizArt Guide, the event will run from 11am to 6pm, coinciding with the celebration of International Artists Day. For seven hours, one of the municipality’s best-known public spaces will be filled with artworks and creative displays, in an initiative designed to bring art closer to the public beyond traditional exhibition venues.

Visitors will be able to browse the artists’ stalls, admire their work, speak directly with the creators and learn more about their sources of inspiration and creative processes. The artworks will also be available to buy, offering an opportunity to discover and support the artistic talent connected to Ibiza.

The participating artists are Carolina Jeanjot Valcárcel, Pedro Mesquida Ordinas, Eduardo Navarro, Maria Ordinas Sanso, Vanessa Rodríguez Peña, David Martínez López, José Felipe Coy, Grecia Méndez, Julio González, Roberto Mellinio, Amalia Romero Collado, Tamae Romero, Rodrigo Martín, Rafael Serrano Mendoza, Fernando Po Vargas Dengra, Ibiza Makers, Leo González, Carmen Ronda Escarabajal, Nathalie Ryckaert, Toñi Subirana Marí, Isabel Aguilar Tabernero, Valeria Gulisano, Rubén Vílchez and Ana Ribas Tur.

A creative space for children

The programme also has something in store for younger visitors. From 11.30am to 1.30pm, children can take part in an artistic expression workshop using clay, led by artist and art therapist Eliana Perinat.

The activity aims to introduce children to the creative process through hands-on experimentation with the material, encouraging their imagination and self-expression. Places are limited to a maximum of 15 participants.

Aire Arte aims to become a fixture on Ibiza’s cultural calendar

Aire Arte was launched in 2024 with the aim of highlighting the island’s artistic diversity and turning the Passeig de ses Fonts into a meeting place for artists and the public. Now in its third edition, the initiative aims to establish itself as an annual event on Sant Antoni’s cultural calendar.

Sant Antoni’s Councillor for Culture, Eva Prats, says the initiative helps bring art closer to the community and transforms public spaces into settings for artistic creation.

“We want to continue establishing this event as an annual opportunity to showcase Ibiza’s artists, encourage public participation and bring art to people of all ages,” she says.
