Yesterday evening, residents near Ca n’Escandell reported that some individuals from Can Tomeu, a building associated with the Eivissa Town Hall’s Youth Department, were seen walking naked outside, close to a park where children were present. Can Tomeu is used for non-formal education activities.
The Eivissa City Council expressed regret and offered apologies. They contacted the organization responsible, Festival Territori, which confirmed that the individuals were artists on festival scholarships conducting a workshop unrelated to the festival’s activities.
The City Council claimed it was a rehearsal for a performance, but videos suggested otherwise. Local Police arrived, identified three individuals, and instructed them to avoid public areas due to the presence of children and pedestrians.
Residents in the vicinity expressed concern and called the police, stating that the individuals were simply walking in a naturist manner, not rehearsing.
