Music in the public squares of Sant Francesc, Sant Ferran, es Pujols and on the promenade of la Savina returns once again this year to liven up Formentera’s summer nights, with the presence of local musicians. The live music offerings include different styles such as singer-songwriters, world music, Latin, blues, soul, rock, heavy or jazz.
Mondays on harbor promenade will once again host popular music and singer-songwriters, from the june 19 to September 11starting at 10 p.m.
Thursdays live music will move to the europa square in es Pujolswith world music that will be performed by one of the most traditional groups of Formentera, Free Antenna. The performances will begin at 10 p.m., starting at june 15 to October 26 (except for the month of August, when there will be no performances).
Another classic summer rendezvous is the church square of Sant Ferranwhere every Friday from 10 p.m. onwards, from the june 16 to September 22the Formentera Musical Association will be in charge of livening up the square.
In the Plaza de la Constitució, from Sant Francesc the appointment is with the ‘Jazz in the Square’ with concerts of the most veteran jazz band of the island, every Saturday from 10 p.m., from the june 17 to September 23 except for July 22, which will be held on Sunday, July 23, and Saturday, August 5, when there will be no concert.
