The woman who reported being assaulted on the luxury yacht of Conor McGregor after a party in Ibiza while moored off the coast of Formentera, has withdrawn his complaint against the Mixed Martial Arts star, according to the Irish newspaper The Independent.

The alleged victim, who resides in Dublin, filed the paperwork to terminate the lawsuit on Monday, only a month after initiating the process. Her lawyer, Alvaro Blascoinformed this newspaper that he could not comment beyond confirming that a notice of suspension had been filed and that he would seek to have the case dismissed. McGregor consistently denied the allegations against him.

The Superior Court was to hear an application by the alleged victim next week for an order requiring the former UFC champion to preserve evidence related to the alleged incident, including CCTV and phone camera footage. But the arraignment now will not be held.

The alleged facts

The complainant claimed that she was hospitalized after being attacked on McGregor’s yacht while it was moored in Formentera in July last year. She had attended McGregor’s 34th birthday party in Ibiza.

The woman alleged that the attack took place after the party, when she and others were invited back to the yacht in the early hours of the morning. The injuries she claimed to have sustained were a broken arm and bruises.

The complainant asserted that had to jump from the deck of the yacht during the alleged incident to avoid being assaulted furtherwho made her way to another boat and was then taken to the hospital.

In a statement following the filing of the lawsuit, McGregor’s representative said he stood “firm in his denial of all allegations made by a guest on his boat.”

In recent weeks, there have been a number of different incidents against the property of the alleged victimrecalls this newspaper. Last Wednesday someone threw a brick through the window of her house just before dawn and last January 19 there was a complaint when the woman’s car caught fire in front of her home.

There is no indication that any of the incidents were related to her lawsuit against the wrestling star.
