Las Dalias closes the season with its traditional ‘Family Day’

Las Dalias will celebrate the end of the high season with its traditional ‘Family Day’, in which “the great family of the market, made up of all the people who make it possible: artisans, vendors, workers of the gastronomic points, staff, security and collaborators gather around a giant paella to give thanks for an unforgettable summer full of good times,” the emblematic venue said in a statement.

Family Day will be held on next Thursday, October 19, starting at 1.30 p.m and will feature, as every year, “with the ancestral and always emotional ceremony of the Payment to the Earth”, as well as a large paella for about 400 guests, lots of live music and the awards ceremony for the best stalls, voted by the public visiting the market.

This year, as novelty, there will be a humor monologue and a ‘battle of the neighborhoods’in which artisans and vendors from the different ‘streets’ of the market “will use their ingenuity, talent and imagination to impose themselves in the contest as the area with the most charm and personality of Las Dalias”.
