The best plans for the weekend in Ibiza and Formentera

The Fira de la Sal marks the weekend's outdoor activity in Ibiza

The Fira de la Sal is the big open-air event of a weekend in which the Ibiza Light Festival was also scheduled to be held, but has finally been postponed due to the rain forecast, which makes an electricity-based festival impossible.

The Fira de la Sal has progranado activities for two days in Sant Jordi and the whole area of ses Salines, such as exhibitions, excursions, representations of salt harvesting, crafts …. All around the world of salt on Saturday and Sunday.

Santa Eulària will be filled on Saturday with the joint celebration of the Fira d’Estocs and Tapavíthe Fira d’Estocs and Tapaví[]in which 50 stores and restaurants will participate, and there will also be live music and children’s games and workshops throughout the day.

Also noteworthy is the XV edition of the Octubrefeston Saturday, as part of the festivities of Sant Rafel, with a luxury line-up with Ruda, Lacalle, Dr Trapero and Joven Dolores, lots of beer and good sandwiches.

Theater lovers have an important appointment with one of the great Spanish actresses, Kiti Mánver, who also arrives on Saturday at Can Ventosa with the work ‘The inconvenient’.

And in the musical section on Sunday there are several notes for the agenda, such as a concert of classical guitar by Carlos Bica in Santa Eulària and the SolFesta festival in support of the family of Sol Yapura, the young Argentinean woman who was run over and killed last month in Ibiza.

And as it usually happens at the end of the season, solidarity appointments are multiplying: Friday opens at the Club Nautico Ibiza the exhibition of artists against canceron Saturday, the Hard Rock Hotel will host the ‘Stronger Together’, with sports activities also against cancer, and on the same day there is a valencian paella in favor of the KBG Syndrome Association in Sant Antoni.

The list is long:
