During the investigations, 15 people have been arrested in different Spanish cities, 29 robberies with violence have been solved and eight of the stolen watches have been recovered

The Guardia Civil has arrested two people for committing half a hundred robberies on the islands of Ibiza and Mallorca in the last two years. The total value of what was stolen is estimated at two million euros. The agents have managed to recover more than 20 luxury watches valued at 350,000 euros and numerous jewels, as reported in a statement.

The detainees, of Albanian origin, selected victims of high purchasing power residing in the Balearic Islands. They were usually chosen on their way out of luxury restaurants and exclusive beaches and even beaconed their vehicles with GPS devices to identify the homes in which they resided.
