Aleix Espargaró, in addition to being a rider who triumphs on the tours, is also passionate about cycling. The Aprilia rider has published a video in which he reflects the luxury vacation he spent at Easter in Ibiza.
Villa sa Calma is located within a group of houses with the name of Vista Alegre in the municipality of Sant Josep, with stunning views of the Mediterranean and all the amenities you can imagine. Sa Calma is the most expensive property to rent of the whole complex: about 20,000 euros per day. And it is the house chosen by the motorcyclist Aleix Espargaró to spend Easter in Ibiza with his family (his wife Laura Montero and children Max and Mía) and friends.
Espargaró took advantage of his stay on the island to participate in the Vuelta a Ibiza MTB, forming a team with Jorge Martín, current partner of Abel Matutes’ granddaughter, María Monfort Matutes, and motorcycling rider in the Italian Prima Pramac Racing MotoGP team.
A ‘tour’ of the mansion and its amenities
Aleix Espargaró, who races in MotoGP with the Aprilia Racing Factory Team, has a video blog on YouTube in which he tells some aspects of his life, both private and professional.
The last video posted is dedicated exclusively to his Easter Week in Ibizaand in it he has no problem showing the luxuries he can afford, among them, the fantastic house of 20,000 euros a day that he rented on the island.
During his vacation on the island the pilot had his own private chef (who, among other meals, prepared snacks for him while he was cycling in the Vuelta a Ibiza, to avoid eating so many gels and prefabricated bars), two masseurs who unloaded his legs after each stage of the cycling competition….
The race is the focus of most of the video blog. The bike that Espargaró rode is a Epic World Cup (with a price starting at 7,000 euros and considered one of the fastest on the market) that every day a mechanic would tune it up to be perfect for the next stage.
