The Ministry of Ecological Transition does not authorize the stage over the sea that the San Miguel brewery had planned to set up at the festival that is scheduled to be held this Saturday in Port de Sant Miquel, in the north of the island, the ‘San Miguel’s Day’. This has been confirmed this morning by the City Council of Sant Joan after this newspaper learned that some scientists of the island, who prefer to remain anonymous, had reported negatively on this structure which, they detailed, affected marine life in the harbor.
“The Ministry today sent a report authorizing the whole party except the platform over the sea.” detailed from the Consistory that, in addition, ensures that this very morning the organizers had already renounced to this structureone of the attractions with which they promoted the festival, due to the bad sea that is expected these days. A letter that, according to the City Council of Sant Joan would have sent to Costas. The bad sea conditions forecast for Thursday and Friday, apparently, complicated to assemble the structure, so that, although Saturday weather forecasts are good, the operators would not have time to be fully assembled for the festival.
