Ibiza’s most luxurious private islet for sale: sa Ferradura for sale

Known as one of the europe’s most luxurious private villas, sa Ferradura (seated on the islet of the same name, linked by a small tongue of land to Sant Miquel, north of Ibiza), has been rented since 2017 for up to 300,000 euros a week.

Sa Ferradura is nestled on a small peninsula of 35,000 square meters in the bay of Sant Miquel. It is owned by Russian tycoon Mikhail Prokhorovwho was the owner of an NBA basketball team, who acquired it in 2013 for a high price. The house, which was listed in the most expensive mansions in the world having reached a retail price of 33 million euros, had belonged to another Russian citizen who bought it for 22 million in 2006 from a Dutch textile businessman, who acquired it in 1994 for 50 million pesetas.

For sale again

According to the newspaper Expansión in an article on luxury islands for sale around the world, Sa Ferradura is one of them. It is being marketed by the real estate company Sotheby’s International Realty, but the price has not been made public, since in this section it specifies that the sale price is “under consultation”.

Taking into account that its current owner acquired it for about 33 million euros and that he has made some reforms, in addition to decorating it with furniture and works of art of the highest value, what seems clear is that its price will not go below those 33 million in any case.

The house has a capacity for 12 people with six double rooms, all of them with private bathrooms.

As a curiosity, there are chairs that have been brought from Japan and a walnut table in one of the dining rooms handmade by an Amish community from New York.

The house has a spectacular terrace of 750 square meters with spectacular views and equipped with two bars, pergolas, a mixing table to play music…

The exclusive property opens to the sea and the wild landscape of es Amunts through 12,000 square meters of gardens of native vegetation, two spectacular swimming pools and a set of lounges and comfortable and diaphanous private areas, which are organized around an impluvium.
