Fined 120,000 euros in Ibiza for converting premises into tourist accommodation with eight bedrooms, bathroom and communal kitchen

Two complaints have been filed, one for an urban infraction and the other for the change of use from commercial to residential premises

A municipal warden, at the request of the Local Police, visited the commercial first floor, located in the neighborhood of Els Llimoners, and found the realization of the works and the change of use to residential.

For these reasons, the City Council has imposed two penalties of more than 66,800 euros, resulting from applying 75% of the value of the illegal works (more than 89,100 euros). The first fine was imposed for an urban planning infringement, classified as serious against the Town Planning Law of the Balearic Islandsand the second for the change of use from commercial to residential.
