Thirteen cultural associations will come together at the Ibiza Fairground on October 24 and 25 for an event celebrating diversity, cultural exchange and community life.

Discovering other cultures can be as simple as sharing a meal, listening to a song or joining in a dance. That is the idea behind Trobada de Pobles 2026, which will bring together 13 cultural associations at the Ibiza Fairground (Recinto Ferial de Ibiza) on October 24 and 25.

Over two days, participating groups will showcase their traditions through food, live performances and activities for all the family, offering residents and visitors an opportunity to experience the island’s cultural diversity in one place.

The event will run from 10:30 am to 8 pm on Saturday and from 10:30 am to 6 pm on Sunday. It is organised by the Consell Insular d’Eivissa’s Department of Youth, Citizen Participation and the Sa Coma Island Services Park, and is open to the entire community.

Each association will have its own stand, where visitors can learn about its activities throughout the year and discover different aspects of its cultural heritage. Representatives will also take to the stage to perform traditional songs, music and dances from their places of origin.

A Taste of the World in Ibiza

Food will be one of the main attractions of the programme. From 1 pm to 3:30 pm, visitors will have the chance to sample dishes representing the participating communities, discovering new recipes alongside the customs and traditions associated with them.

Families will also be able to enjoy a dedicated children’s area featuring workshops and attractions, adding a range of activities for younger visitors to the two-day programme.

Thirteen Cultural Associations, One Shared Celebration

This year’s event will feature the Casa de Cantabria and Casa de Valencia, alongside associations representing the Dominican, Filipino, Brazilian, Bolivian and Paraguayan communities.

Other participants include the Hermandad Rociera de Sant Antoni, the Tahiti Ibiza French Polynesia Association, the Association of Ecuadorians of Ibiza and Formentera, the Romanian Cultural Association of Ibiza and Formentera, the Islamic Centre of Ibiza and the Federació de Colles.

Together, these 13 organisations will share a space to present their work, activities and cultural traditions, highlighting the diversity of the communities that are part of everyday life on Ibiza.

More than a showcase of international food, music and dance, Trobada de Pobles offers an opportunity to celebrate cultural diversity and encourage people from different backgrounds to connect on the island.
