Organised by Ibiza Rockers, the festival takes place on 24 October at Sala Summum in Cala de Bou, featuring four bands from Ibiza and four from Mallorca.

Eight bands, two stages and an almost uninterrupted afternoon and evening of rock and metal. Cultural association Ibiza Rockers will host a new edition of Rocktober Fest on Saturday, 24 October, bringing together acts from Ibiza and Mallorca at Sala Summum in Cala de Bou.

The festival starts at 6 pm, with a continuous programme spread across two stages. The format is designed to keep the music flowing and minimise downtime between performances.

The line-up spans several corners of the rock and metal scene, from atmospheric and alternative sounds to thrash, hardcore and hard rock.

Eight bands spanning rock and metal

The bill features Brut, whose crossover and thrash sound is driven by powerful guitar riffs; Outshined, who will revisit the sound of 1990s grunge through a set of covers; Pardals, bringing a more atmospheric post-rock approach; and Queen Marsa, representing the festival’s classic hard rock side.

They will be joined by Manhattan Wake! and Mind of Storm, two bands associated with alternative rock, each bringing a different approach to the genre.

Also on the programme is Demokrazia, a tribute band dedicated to Soziedad Alkoholika, delivering the speed and intensity of metal and hardcore. The Last Request completes the line-up with a combination of hard-hitting riffs and more aggressive rhythms.

Ibiza and Mallorca share the stage

One of the defining features of this year’s festival is its balance between the two island music scenes: four bands are from Ibiza and four from Mallorca.

Rocktober Fest will therefore serve not only as a live music event but also as a meeting point for musicians and rock fans from both islands.

Ibiza Rockers says the festival aims to strengthen the island’s live music scene and create opportunities for genres that do not always have a regular presence in Ibiza’s events calendar.

The mix of styles promises a varied musical journey throughout the evening, moving from more melodic and atmospheric performances to heavier, more direct sounds.
