[UNVRS] heads into the final weekend of August with three nights that showcase the full scale of its musical and production concept: spectacular visuals, techno, house, trance and some of the biggest names in electronic music. From Saturday 29 to Monday 31 August, the Ibiza hyperclub will take on a different identity each night, welcoming elrow, Carl Cox and Tiësto.
On Saturday, Neo Kaos Garden returns to [UNVRS], bringing the surreal universe of artist Okuda San Miguel back to the club. Geometric shapes, sculptures, fantastical creatures, performers, digital installations and plenty of confetti will fill the venue, making full use of its vast scale and cutting-edge technical capabilities. Andrés Campo, Bora Uzer, Marco Faraone and Sante Sansone will take care of the music, while Discodelia opens up a second musical route featuring Athe Umgido and Laeet.
Sunday belongs to Carl Cox, who will be joined by Joseph Capriati, Honey Dijon and Brina Knauss. Four artists with distinct musical identities will take over the Main Room, creating a night capable of moving through several different shades of electronic music. Capriati bridges house and techno, while Honey Dijon brings the influence of Chicago house and disco, and Knauss adds a more melodic and progressive dimension to the line-up.
On Monday, Tiësto brings his [UNVRS] residency to a close, marking one of the major returns of the Ibiza summer season. More than three decades of electronic music history will come together in the Main Room, from the trance sound of Tiësto’s early career to his global anthems and his more recent melodic and deeper productions. Massano will steer the night towards melodic techno, with DJ TRY completing the line-up ahead of the Dutch superstar’s closing set.
Three nights, three different approaches to the dancefloor and one shared commitment to large-scale production. [UNVRS] will bid farewell to August by moving between elrow’s colourful, chaotic spectacle, Carl Cox’s musical exploration and Tiësto’s genre-spanning journey. Once Monday night comes to an end, attention will turn towards September, with new residencies and the final stretch of the Ibiza club season still offering plenty of surprises at the island’s newest hyperclub.
