Ibiza is preparing for one of the most unusual events of the 2026 summer season as Feels Like Festival takes over S’Arenal beach in San Antonio on Wednesday, August 12, bringing together electronic music, a beachfront setting and a rare total solar eclipse.
The one-day event will run from 4pm until midnight and is designed to offer festival-goers the chance to dance on the sand while experiencing one of nature’s most spectacular events. The festival is strictly 18+.
A total solar eclipse over Ibiza
The biggest attraction of the event is undoubtedly the total solar eclipse, which will take place during the festival.
According to the organisers, the partial eclipse will begin at 7:39pm, with totality starting at 8:32:34pm. Totality will last for approximately 67 seconds, reaching its maximum at 8:33:08pm before ending at 8:33:41pm.
San Antonio de Portmany sits within the path of totality, making the west coast of Ibiza one of the locations where the eclipse can be experienced. However, because the Sun will be extremely low on the western horizon, visibility will depend on weather conditions, cloud cover and potential obstructions such as buildings or boats.
Every festival attendee will receive certified eclipse glasses at the entrance. The organisers advise visitors never to look directly at the Sun without certified solar protection.
Feels Like Festival brings music to S’Arenal beach
The event will take place directly on S’Arenal beach in San Antonio, putting the Mediterranean coastline at the centre of the experience.
The festival has already attracted international electronic music names including Franky Rizardo, Miguelle & Tons and Jamie Jones. Jamie Jones was announced as the latest addition to the line-up in July, joining the previously confirmed artists for the one-off Ibiza event.
The combination of electronic music, a beachfront dancefloor and the total solar eclipse makes the event particularly unusual within Ibiza’s packed summer calendar.

How to get to the festival
With thousands of people expected across Ibiza for the eclipse, the festival recommends planning the journey in advance and using public transport or shared transport where possible.
Visitors travelling from Ibiza Town can take ALSA’s T1 service to San Antonio, while connections are also available from Santa Eulalia, San José and Playa d’en Bossa.
Free parking will be available near the festival at Cooperativa Parking, with additional parking at Can Coix once the first car park reaches capacity. Free shuttle buses will connect the parking areas with the festival entrance.
What should visitors know before attending?
The festival has a number of important entry rules. Guests must be 18 or over and carry an original valid form of identification, such as a passport or accepted identity card.
There is also a strict no re-entry policy: once a ticket has been scanned and a visitor leaves the festival area, they cannot return using the same ticket. Security checks will take place at the entrance.
Outside food and drinks are not permitted, while phones and small personal cameras are allowed. Drones, tripods and monopods are prohibited.
An unusual Ibiza festival experience
For visitors looking for something different from Ibiza’s traditional club nights, Feels Like Festival offers a rare combination of music, nature and one of the island’s most spectacular sunsets.
The event’s timing is what sets it apart: on August 12, the dancefloor at S’Arenal will become a front-row location for a total solar eclipse, with electronic music providing the soundtrack to an event unlikely to be repeated in quite the same way.
With the eclipse occurring shortly before sunset, San Antonio will be one of the key places in Ibiza to experience the phenomenon, provided weather and visibility conditions cooperate.
For anyone planning to be in Ibiza on August 12, Feels Like Festival is shaping up to be one of the standout events of the 2026 Ibiza summer.
