Pitiusas again exceed 50 positives on a day when hospitalizations are down

All municipalities of the Pitiusas are now below a thousand cases per hundred thousand inhabitants within two weeks, according to the latest data from the Balearic Ministry of Health. This situation has not occurred for exactly one month. Just a week ago there were three municipalities that still exceeded a fourteen day incidence of a thousand infections: Vila (1,594), Sant Josep (1,150) and Sant Antoni (1,076). On Wednesday, however, it was only the capital which found itself in that situation.

Right now this municipality, which has the highest rates of the islands, has a 14 day case rate of 979.9 and a 7 day case rate of 379.4. The rates of Sant Joan, the least affected by the virus in Ibiza (and number 20 in the Balearic Islands) are 456.2 infections per hundred thousand inhabitants at fourteen days and 167.3 at seven. The island of Ibiza still has the highest rates of the Comunitat, although the difference lessens with respect to the other islands as time goes on.
