Past Halloween… Actually, not quite yet. There is still plenty going on, including a full programme of activities on Saturday in Sant Josep, crowned by a new edition of Zombie Survival through the streets of the town. After Halloween, as we were saying, this weekend brings a number of very interesting events across the Pitiüses, such as the Festival del Humor de Vila, featuring names like Edu Soto and David Domínguez, running from Thursday to Sunday.
In music, there is plenty of variety. Highlights include a concert by the Orquestra Simfònica de les Illes Balears this Thursday, with Ibizan flautist Rafael Adobas as soloist; a performance by Habana Balear at Can Jordi Blues Station the same day, boasting a first-rate line-up; a short but intense tour by Chicago bluesman Breezy Rodio; and a concert by Eivissa Clàssica with modern tango on Saturday, among others.
Sant Carles is in the middle of its festivities and this Saturday hosts one of its most anticipated events, the Spartan Race Sant Carles Xtrem. The festivities of Santa Gertrudis have also begun, featuring, for example, the EiViFest wine fair on Saturday, alongside many other activities. There will also be talks, cinema screenings, the Curs Eivissenc de Cultura, book presentations, charity events, storytelling sessions for children… and plenty of tradition with the Mostra Folklòrica de Tardor in Sant Antoni. There is even circus: the show Anónima will take place on Saturday in Santa Eulària.
