The Ibiza City Council will hold a new edition of two initiatives promoting sport and healthy living: Pedal Day, which will take place on Sunday, 16 November, and the 2025–2026 Hiking and Cycling Routes programme. These activities, which combine physical exercise, community participation and a deeper connection with the island, are open to all ages and fitness levels, aiming to promote an active and sustainable city.
Speaking about Pedal Day, the Councillor for Sports, Catiana Fuster, described it as “a family party on wheels”. Registrations will be open at Abel Matutes Boulevard between 9.30 and 11 a.m..
At 11 a.m., the 13-kilometre main route through the city will set off. Ten minutes later, at 11.10 a.m., the children’s urban circuit (8 kilometres) will begin, aimed at children aged 8 to 11, accompanied by an adult.
At 11.20 a.m., the youngest participants will enjoy an 800-metre cycling parade with tricycles and four-wheeled bikes.
At the same time, a road safety education circuit and various awareness-raising and recreational activities will take place. The morning will conclude at 12.45 p.m. with a grand raffle featuring bicycles and other prizes for participants.
The event is organised with the collaboration of the Association of Volunteers of Ibiza, ADDIF, the Algarb Institute, Civil Protection of Ibiza, and S’Espurna Fundació Diocesana.
