Robbery in Ibiza: 2 arrested for beating tourists and stealing their watches

The National Police in Ibiza have arrested two men of Moroccan nationality as alleged perpetrators of a violent robbery against two tourists. The incident took place on 29 September near Sa Punta Street in Ibiza Town.

According to police reports, the tourist couple was approached by four individuals who attempted to steal a high-end watch worn by one of the victims.

During the struggle, both victims sustained several bruises and blows. The attackers fled the scene with the stolen watch, but were pursued by officers who had been alerted by the 091 emergency service.

Police managed to intercept the suspects, recover the stolen watch and detain two of the assailants, while the other two managed to escape. The Violent Crime Unit (UDEV) is continuing its investigation in an effort to locate and arrest the fugitives, according to the National Police.
