Music. Music. More music. A little more music. And some other things. That’s how this weekend in Ibiza and Formentera looks like for those who don’t want to stay at home watching Netflix and talking to their plants. Some weekend plans, these, which are extended (without serving as a precedent) because on Monday (Vara de Rey, 21 hours) opens a new edition of ‘Eivissa jazz’,that throughout the week will turn Vila in the capital of this musical style. It begins on Monday, but there are free performances on Tuesday and Wednesday at the same time. 19659003]But before that continue the festivities of Sant Agustí, whose concerts of music from all corners of the world are well known (and well enjoyed) beyond Ses Margalides. The village lives this Thursday its big day that, in addition to the classic mass-ball pagès-orelletes-vi (19 hours), comes with the proclamation, which this year will deliver Charlotte Look, the popular singing teacher of Can Blau, and, of course, music (from 21 hours). There is also in Sant Bartomeu, in Sant Antoni, which extends its festival after living last Sunday its big day and Friday lives the Mockers Revolution (20 hours) and Saturday, a new edition of Brisa Flamenca. As a highlight, Queralt Lahoz. Also at eight o’clock in Caló de s’Oli. This Thursday Macaco returns to his essential stage at Las Dalias (7 p.m.) and both in Ibiza and Formentera classical music lovers can enjoy ‘Música d’elles‘, a quintet that recovers pieces by female composers, women musicians who are recovered from oblivion. Saturday at 8 p.m. in the Cloister of the Town Hall of Ibiza and on Sunday, half an hour later, in the church of Sant Francesc. Finally, on Sunday (8 p.m.) the culmination of the great weeks of music in Sant Carles will come with the final concert of the winners of the XXVI Ibiza International Piano Competition 2025 (8 p.m., Sant Carles cultural center).
