The second most expensive municipality to buy a home in Spain is in Ibiza

Santa Eulària and Calvià have positioned themselves at the end of 2024 as the second and third most expensive municipalities to buy a home in Spain.

This is the result of the data released Monday by the real estate portal idealista, which indicates that the Ibizan municipality reached last year an average price of 1.9 million euros and up to 1.8 million euros in the case of the Mallorcan locality. The first place is occupied by Benahavís (Málaga), where the price exceeds 2.3 million euros.

The data published this Monday also refers to the most demanded locations to buy, a list in which Palma is in 21st place and with an average purchase price of 712,000 euros. In the list of areas with more pressure of demand appear other localities of the Balearic Islands such as Ibiza (876,669 euros), Llucmajor (775,004 euros), Ciutadella (573,845 euros) and Manacor (524,224 euros).
