Christmas weather: Ibiza and Formentera forecast

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has given a preview of the weather forecast for Christmas in Ibiza and Formentera. Thus, it forecasts cool temperatures, normal for the season, on December 24 and 25.

In addition, it points out that some occasional and isolated precipitation may occur.

On December 24 there will be cloudy intervals in the Pitiusas. Minimum and maximum temperatures of 9 and 17 degrees. The Aemet has activated the yellow alert for bad sea throughout the day by wind from the north and northwest of 50 to 60 kilometers per hour (force 7) and waves of three to four meters.

On December 25 there will also be cloudy intervals and some weak and occasional precipitation is not ruled out. There is a 25 percent chance of rain in the PItiusas. The mercury will be between 8 and 17 degrees. The snow level will be at 1,300 meters. Variable light winds, imposing the breeze regime.

From December 25 to 27, stability will continue in the islands. From December 28 to 29, the most likely scenario is a change of weather with precipitation that may be locally heavy and persistent. The main novelty will be the return to the regime of trade winds (fresh and humid, of maritime route, blowing regularly from east to west), in principle of moderate intensity.
