Minimum temperatures plunge in Ibiza last weekend

The weekend in the Pitiusas has been characterized by high daytime temperatures and very low nighttime. Thus, on Saturday 23rd in the early hours of the morning the mercury dropped to five degrees in the municipality of Sant Joan, while in the daytime it reached 24 degrees at Ibiza airport, according to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet)

It is the first time so far this month that the thermometer drops below double digits. In the rest of the island also recorded temperatures below 10 degrees: seven degrees at the airport of Ibiza and eight degrees at the aerodrome of es Codolar and Ibiza town. Formentera, however, recorded a minimum temperature of 14 degrees.

Saturday was sunny in the Pitiusas, where the airport reached 24 degrees, followed by Sant Antoni, Ibiza town and Formentera, with 21 degrees. While Sant Joan recorded a maximum of 20 degrees.

Weather forecast for this week in Ibiza

The week will bring a drop in minimum temperatures (up to 10 degrees) while the maximum will be at 22 degrees. The skies will alternate between cloudy and clear and the probability of precipitation is low.

However, a 40% chance of rain is forecast for Sunday.
