This weekend one of the most interesting musical proposals comes from the renowned German pianist and composer Joachim Kühn and the young Ibizan vibraphonist Andrés Coll, who will offer a concert together with the Moroccan multi-instrumentalist Majid Bekkas and drummer Ramón López on Saturday the 22nd of July from 8 pm in the Auditori Caló de s’Oli in Cala de Bou. They will perform, among others, compositions by Kühn himself, some of them created in Ibiza, along with different adaptations of traditional Moroccan folklore. The event is part of the Sol Post a s’Oli Fest cycle.
On the same day, at 9.30 p.m., the Clockwork Orchestra will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Clockwork Orange party in es Martell, in the port of Ibiza, with a free performance.
On the other hand, this Friday will kick off the celebrations for the es Clot neighborhood in the park of La Paz in Ibiza, which will culminate on Sunday July 23. One of the most attractive proposals for the little ones will be the foam party which has been programmed for three days at different times. On Saturday at 10.30 p.m. will perform the Ibizan group Canallas del Guateke.
In Formentera, today, Thursday, will begin the Festes de Sant Jaume with a family concert by El Pot Petit at 7.30 pm in the Plaza de la Constitución in Sant Francesc. Music will be one of the main protagonists this Friday, July 21 with a popular festival with orchestra from 10 pm. On Saturday, in the same place and at the same time, is scheduled to be held the Nit Jove and on Sunday a Jazz concert by Oliver & Llombart Duo.
Those who want to enjoy an evening of cinema under the stars have a golden opportunity with the new session of Mecal Air Eivissa dedicated to creative advertising shorts that will be offered on Saturday at 10 p.m. in the park next to the church of Sant Agustí.
