Here are Ibiza’s 4 blue flag beaches

The Balearic Islands has obtained the Blue Flag for 30 of its beaches, one less than last year. Of these, 23 are on Mallorca, 3 on Menorca and 4 on Ibiza.

Among the Ibizan municipalities with the most blue flags are Santa Eulària, with three, and Sant Joan, with one. The beaches that have obtained this distinction are Cala Llenya, Es Figueral, es Canar and Cala de Sant Vicent.

The 30 flags obtained by the Balearic Islands this year represent 14 less than in 2021, when 44 were obtained. Last year Mallorca had 21 beaches with this distinction, two less than in this edition.

Marinas

15 marinas in the Balearic Islands will also fly the blue flag, compared to 13 last year, with Cala Gamba and Portocristo being added.

On Mallorca they are Alcudiamar, the C.N. Cala Gamba (Palma) Portocristo (Manacor) S’Arenal (Llucmajor), the Club de Vela Port d’Andratx, Marina Palma Cuarentena, Marina Port de Mallorca, Port Colònia Sant Jordi (Ses Salines), Port de Cala Bona (Son Servera), Cala Figuera (Santanyí), Cala Rajada (Capdepera) and RCN de Palma.

The port of Fornells (es Mercadal) on Menorca; and on Ibiza the C.N. Sant Antoni de Portmany and Marina Ibiza are also flagged.

In addition, there are three other blue flags obtained by tourist boats in the Balearic Islands.

Thus, in 2022 the islands have achieved a total of 30 blue flags for beaches (one less than last year) and 15 for ports (two more), in addition to the three for tourist boats.

621 Blue Flag beaches all over Spain

The Blue Flag will fly next summer on 621 Spanish beaches, six more than last year, 18 of which will have this quality seal for the first time, which recognizes the good water condition, the high level of beach services and the safety offered to bathers.
