After the sixth matchday of LaLiga Smartbank and with a 1-1 draw at Can Misses against Real Oviedo, UD Ibiza has become the only team in the entire Second Division to maintain their unbeaten record.
Despite being one of the newly promoted teams and first-time rookies, for the first time in their history, in the Silver Division of Spanish football, the team coached by Juan Carlos Carcedo has earned the honour and privilege of being the only team that, so far, has not yet tasted defeat.
With a positive balance of one win and five draws in the six matches they have played since starting their journey in the Second Division, UD Ibiza are making steady progress in this new tier, surprising all and sundry with their good results, in contrast to those achieved so far by some of their rivals in the Silver Division, who have a bigger club, history and budget.
