The Ibizan band Joven Dolores has just released their second album, ‘Un segundo’, as well as announcing the dates of the album release tour, which will begin on the 20th of November in Mallorca. With this new studio album, the group formed by David Serra (vocals), Joan Barbé (guitar), Frederic Torres (bass) and Joan Carles Marí (drums) “evolves with respect to their first LP, ‘Galopa los días’ (2019), in terms of sounds, rhythms, melodies and lyrics, but without losing the essence of the band that has increased their following by thousands in just two years,” their label has highlighted in a press release. The intention of Joven Dolores with these ten new songs that includes ‘Un Segundo’ remains the same: “create excitement through their songs”.
And to present this new album, the band has already announced the first dates of their new tour: Mallorca (20/11), Murcia (26/11), Valencia (27/11), Castellón (14/01), Zaragoza (11/02), Barcelona (12/02), Aranda de Duero (18/02), Madrid (19/02) and Bilbao (02/04).
With the advance singles they have been releasing, Joven Dolores entered in several important national playlists as the official Spotify ‘Novedades Indie’ and ‘Radar Indie’, along with artists like Love of Lesbian, Bunbury, Los Planetas and Zahara.
In addition, the group performed sold out concerts last May in Barcelona and Madrid after being forced to suspending their tour ‘Galopa los días’ last 2020 because of covid restrictions.
