The Múcab Dans company is bringing ‘Blowing’, “a visual, poetic and innovative show that will send spectators flying into a world of fantasy” to the Pitiusas Islands this weekend, according to a press release. It will take place on Saturday the 23rd and Sunday the 24th at the Sala de Cultura (Cinema) in Formentera and in the auditorium of the Palacio de Congresos in Ibiza.
Discovering where the wishes of millions and millions of people, big and small, from all over the world go and who makes them possible is the idea behind ‘Blowing’, a creation that uses dance, live music and multimedia technology to immerse the audience in fantastic and fascinating universes.
A performance where spectators will experience the journey of a small spore to fulfil a mission: to make a very special wish come true. A poetic journey with comic and absurd situations that Múcab Dans uses to bring dance closer to the youngest members of the family. Working the multimedia environment as an interactive stage element, the show takes on a new dimension, in which both the drama and choreography are fully integrated.
‘Blowing’, recommended for all audiences, is directed by choreographer Toni Mira (National Dance Prize 2010), a benchmark in contemporary creation. The show can be seen in Formentera on Saturday the 23rd of October at 6pm in the Sala de Cultura (cinema). Tickets are priced at 4 euros and are on sale at www.entradesformentera.cat. In Santa Eularià the show can be seen on Sunday the 24th of October at 6pm in the auditorium of the Palacio de Congresos. The price will be 10 euros online and 12 euros at the box office.
