Enotecum is organising a new edition of the sommelier initiation course from 7 to 24 November. This is a basic course to start learning about the exciting world of wine and is aimed at hospitality professionals, salespeople from the world of distribution, sales assistants in specialised shops or those interested in simply learning the secrets of the world of wine.
Enotecum started organising courses and tasting sessions in 1998, and since then almost 4,000 people have participated in these activities.
In recent years the Enotecum sommelier course has become the most popular training course for hospitality professionals and the most highly rated training by the students who have participated in this experience.
Javier Escandell, the course director, will be providing the training with Lorenzo Amador and Alejandro Casado, whose experience in previous editions has been decisive for the growth and development of the course.
In addition, on this occasion the course will also feature two leading figures from the world of Spanish wine: Armando Guerra, specialist in the wines of Jerez, and Andreas Kubach, Master of Wine, who will be providing his invaluable wine-making knowledge.
Enotecum launched the sommelier course in 2008 and since then over 500 people have participated in this activity, which is divided into three levels: initiation, general and advanced. At the end of the course, the participants who pass the final exam receive a diploma,
