Virgin Voyages, the luxury cruise company of tycoon Richard Branson, has launched its second cruise ship, the ‘Valiant Lady’, for adults only, which will call at Barcelona from May and throughout the summer season and from where it will make routes that will call at Palma and Ibiza.
Virgin Voyages, which has seen its cruise bookings increase by 178% in the last six months, aspires to be able to recover pre-pandemic occupancy levels thanks to the ‘Valiant Lady’, which will offer up to three different itineraries around Europe and will depart from the Catalan capital.
One of the trips offered by the company from Barcelona, the Mediterranean MerMaiden, includes stopovers in Toulon, Cagliri or Ibiza for 1,653 euros.
