A covid outbreak has forced the closure of the Traffic office on Ibiza. A regular user has explained to Diario de Ibiza that when he arrived yesterday at the office he found the doors closed and a sign informing that “due unforeseen circumstances, this local headquarters will remain temporarily closed until further notice”.
5 of the 10 Traffic employees test positive
As this newspaper has learned, five of its ten employees, all of them customer service staff, have tested positive for coronavirus and the rest are close contacts, so they remain at home.
For the moment, only those who have digital certificates will be able to complete procedures electronically. Those users who had an assigned appointment, as explained in another poster hung on the office door, have been cancelled and “will be contacted as soon as possible to assign them a new appointment”.
