A traffic accident this Monday morning on the Sant Antoni road has resulted in two minor injuries after suffering polycontusions due to a rear-end collision between a car and a motorbike. The car was left overturned on its side after leaving the road at km 8 of the EI-600, the Sant Antoni dual carriageway, and a motorbike was hit by the car.
The slightly injured are two males 38 and 48 years of age who were driving, respectively, the car and the motorcycle, detailed from the 061.
Apparently, neither of the two had a passenger in their vehicle and had not been trapped, as happens in other accidents. Both drivers suffered polycontusions as a result of the blows.
Both have tested negative in the breathalyzer test, as reported by the Guardia Civil.
Specifically, firefighters have received the notice about 6.20 hours. The vehicles (an Opel Médica and a Sym motorcycle), as seen in the images accompanying these lines, have been rendered unserviceable and have been removed by two cranes (one of them, a jib crane) of the company Grúas Ibiza.

The following have been sent to the scene of the accident four personnel, one fire brigade and one fire engine vehicle of the Parque Insular de Bomberos, who have been in charge of disconnecting the batteries of the vehicles, an action that is always carried out in these cases to prevent a fire, they themselves explain to this newspaper. The 061 and the Guardia Civil have also been mobilized.
On the part of 061, a Basic Life Support ambulance and a mobile ICU have been activated. The drivers were treated at the scene: the motorcyclist was taken to Vilás and the driver of the car to Can Misses Hospital.
“The car has been overturned on one of its sides, requiring our intervention,” explained the firefighters.
