Ronaldo’s Ibiza villa robbery | Gang sentenced to four years and nine months

They have admitted it and have had their sentences reduced. The Provincial Court of Murcia summoned this Thursday to the six members of the gang that robbed 13 villas in Malaga, Murcia and Ibiza, one of them, that of the Brazilian footballer Ronaldo on the island, where they seized jewels and watches worth three million euros.

The Public Prosecutor’s Office charged four of the defendants with the crimes of continuous robbery with force, continuous forgery and criminal organization and asked for fourteen years in prison for them. As for the other two defendants, it asked for twelve years in prison for each of them for the first two offenses, but left out the criminal organization. By admitting what they did, they see their sentences reduced: they are reduced to four years and nine months.

The operation to capture the gang that robbed Ronaldo’s house in Ibiza was led from Murcia. And Murcia is where they sat in the bench. It is worth recalling that the gang, led by two Albanian brothers, had committed at least 15 robberies since October 2021, in different locations in the Community of Murcia (San Javier, Pozo Estrecho, La Alberca), Málaga (Torremolinos, Benalmádena), Ibiza y Mallorca.

In addition to serving prison sentences, they must pay a fine of 1,080 euros and face civil liability with a compensation of nearly 300,000 euros.

Verratti robbery

For example, that of a Rolex purchased in Monaco for 62,000 euros and that of a jewel purchased in Paris and valued at another 17,600 euros. Another of the watches recovered, gold with diamonds, is valued at about 400,000 euros.
