Evelyn. She is the culprit this time of the instability that is forecast for this week on Ibiza and Formentera. According to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), this new squall will bring more rain to the Pitiusas on Tuesday, Wednesday and Holy Thursday. The rain will then leave and the sun will be out again at the weekend.
The wind, the only element that has not disappeared for days in the Pitiusas, will continue blowing today and could bring with it more dust. The gusts could be especially strong during the day on Thursday, when an average speed of 35km/h winds from the north is expected. The weekend is expected to be much calmer in this respect, which, together with the rising temperatures and the prevailing sunshine, will make Saturday an almost summery day.
As far as temperatures are concerned, Evelyn will cause a slight drop in maximum temperatures. On Wednesday and Thursday, temperatures will not exceed 17 degrees Celsius, while at the weekend, the Aemet expects temperatures to exceed 20 degrees Celsius.
