A 50-year-old motorcyclist was injured seriously injured early this Monday morning after suffering an accident in which a car was also involved, at kilometer 3.5 of the Santa Gertrudis road (at the height of the restaurant Can Caus), as reported by the emergency service SAMU 061.
The victim hit an SUV Land Rover Discovery and his motorcycle has been trapped under the car, which has been subsequently hoisted by two roadside rescue teams of Grúas Ibiza. The City Council of Santa Eulària has detailed that, apparently, there are two cars involved in the accident, and that the first attention would have been offered by the staff of a private ambulanceuntil the arrival of 061. With the wrecked vehicles in the middle of the road, the transit has been made possible through the parking lot of a restaurant nearby. The Local Police of Santa Eulària has regulated the traffic for about an hour. The municipal agents have completed their work shortly before 10 am. On the other hand, traffic officers of the Guardia Civil have been in charge of the attestation and are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
