Three maritime ferry routes of Ibiza have been cancelled today due to the storm. The bad weather conditions these days have caused the cancellation of several ferries that were scheduled from Ibiza. Yesterday, Baleร ria already suspended several routes that included the island and although today the conditions are not so unfavorable, the company has again canceled several routes.
Thus, two of the connections scheduled for this Tuesday of the fast ferry ‘Nixe’ between Ibiza and Formentera have been suspended so far, the 11 and 12 o’clock. On the other hand, the route of the ferry ‘Martin i Soler’ Ibiza-Barcelona at 10 am has been cancelled.
In addition, a Palma-Ibiza-Dรฉnia route has been interrupted. The maritime company has also suspended several connections in Mallorca, where the Aemet has activated these days the red alert because of the storm Juliette.
The Port Authority of the Balearic Islands (APB) has informed that currently all five ports of the islands are open, including the port of Ibiza and La Savina, in Formentera.
From Aena, they have also indicated that the airports of the islands are still operating normally despite the storm.
